Meet the Staff
Clara Hoffmeier, LMT, NCBMT, Reiki Master, Esthetician
My name is Clara Hoffmeier and I am the owner of Health & Harmony Massage Therapy. I am a graduate of the Healing Arts Center in Maplewood, MO and have several credits of continued education in Therapeutic Massage techniques. My philosophy about massage is a strong belief that massage is beneficial for Every Body. From birth through maturity, the healing power of touch is a proactive approach to improving one's overall health and well being.
My journey to becoming a Licensed Massage Therapist began while I was working for AT&T. Sitting long hours left me with chronic pain in my neck, back, and shoulders. I found that massage gave me great relief. In 1989, my mother, Clara Hasper, was diagnosed with Lung Cancer. Throughout her treatments, she would ask me just to "rub her head or hold her hand". I saw the pain relief she experienced. I continued to work for AT&T and then the USPS as a temp, but massage was always in the back of my mind and always in my heart. I realized I wanted to help others feel better and started on the path to massage.....
Keeping balance within the body and mind can help prevent disease. Massage is one way to help people manage stress and pain, increase energy, and promote a healthy immune system. I truly believe massage should be affordable and attainable for everyone. I am committed to always offering you superior quality massage at affordable prices and I hope that together we can partner to help you achieve Health & Harmony.
.....The first thing I see and touch every day as a massage therapist is "Skin," the largest of our bodies organs. In order to be able to help my clients with their skin concerns I enrolled at the Skin Institute, St Louis' premier skin care school specializing in advanced training and medical esthetics protocols. Since graduating and becoming a professionally licensed Skin Care Therapist I am able to treat a wide range of skin problems (from Acne to Sun Damage) and know what conditions need referral for medical attention. As an Esthetician I can change peoples lives by helping them look and feel as beautiful on the outside as they are on the inside. I would love to help you achieve and maintain Health & Harmony for your skin.....

I couldn't imagine doing any other work, massage therapy is so rewarding. I know first hand how regular therapy can improve mood, range of motion, muscle fatigue, and can help regulate chemical imbalances. I suffer from ADD and Scoliosis of the spine, and massage gives me an alternative and safe way to maintain less stress in my body. I offer knowledge in trigger point therapy, isolated stretching, medical massage, extensive training in deep tissue, and pathology. I earned my degree in Massage Therapy at Metro Business College, I'm State Licensed and Nationally Certified . I have 8 years of experience in wellness. I pride myself in excellence, giving every ounce of energy I have to every client I am blessed to work with. If you suffer from chronic muscle tension and stress, I hope you’ll consider me as your therapist.
