Ayurvedic Scalp Massage: This gentle and relaxing treatment uses warm oil massaged into the scalp. It is designed to loosen fascia, improve blood flow, and stimulate the hair folicle. The result is stronger more nourished and healthy hair. (with or w/o oil)
Face Lift Massage: Designed to naturally tone and lift skin of the face. Specific massage techniques will target the muscles of the face to bring blood and oxygen to the layers of the skin and remove toxins. This massage leaves you completely relaxed and your skin lifted, toned, and glowing. You can also learn the techniques to practice at home to continue the radiance and healthy benefits daily.
Integrated Massage: A blend of therapeutic techniques, designed for each client's specific needs, which may include various strokes of swedish, deep tissue, myofascial, lomi lomi, reiki, range of motion, and stretching techniques. It is designed to confuse your body’s holding patterns and help the tissue relax and let go. Integrated massage is especially beneficial for relieving all types of pain and helps promote relaxation and an overall feeling of well being. Additionally, it helps to relieve stress and improve muscle tone, posture, venous, and lymphatic flow. Heated herbs and aromatherapy may also be used at no additional charge. Leave your session feeling relaxed, stretched, and revitalized!
Deep Tissue Massage: Designed to relieve severe tension in the muscle and the connective tissue, deep tissue massage focuses on the muscles located below the superficial muscles. Deep tissue massage is recommended for individuals who experience consistent pain, are involved in heavy physical activity (such as athletes), and patients who have sustained physical injury. When there is chronic muscle tension or injury, there are usually adhesions (bands of painful, rigid tissue) in muscles, tendons, and ligaments. Adhesions can block circulation and cause pain, limited movement, and inflammation. Deep tissue massage works by physically breaking down these adhesions to relieve pain and restore normal movement. At certain points during the massage, most people find there is usually some discomfort and pain. It is important to tell your therapist when things hurt and if any soreness or pain you experience is outside of your comfort range.
Prenatal Massage: Using proper positioning, this massage is designed for the mother-to-be. Reduces stress on weight-bearing joints, promotes relaxation for mother and baby, and improves lymphatic flow which helps reduce fluid retention. Helps mom to sleep better, relax the mind and body, and breathe more deeply. Because massage supports your physical health and vitality, it can help you more easily adjust to the many changes in your body and demands of your new life.
Hot Stone Massage: It can be gentle to relieve stress or deep and penetrating to alleviate significant pain and tension in all areas of the body. This therapy combines laying hot stones along meridian points with therapeutic massage and will bring you to a state of deep relaxation. Soothe your aching muscles and revitalize your spirit with a therapeutic Hot Stone Massage.
Geriatric Massage: Seniors are quite varied in their health status and activity levels. More and more, they are looking to alternative therapies such as massage for help with general relaxation, pain relief, increased joint mobility and range of motion. Geriatric massage is a more gentle massage, often of shorter duration than a regular massage. By participating in activities such as yoga, working out, eating a healthier diet, and generally trying to improve the quality of their lives, today’s seniors are adding massage as an overall health benefit to staying fit and younger longer.
Reflexology: Reflex points on the hands and feet are related to every organ in the body. By applying firm pressure to these specific points your therapist can activate links to specific glands, organs and muscles. Reflex massage can relieve tension, improve the blood supply to certain regions of the body and help to normalize body functions. Reflexology uses a deeper pressure, so always communicate with your therapist, it should not be and uncomfortable experience. Instead, your hands and feet should feel relaxed and refreshed along with receiving the added benefit of healthy internal improvements.
